Open windows at The Commons

Today I am standing at an open window, gazing down at a newly planted tree. Three years ago when I started imagining a community hub that could reimagine entrepreneurship, I tangibly described that feeling to myself as “I will never again be trapped in a high-rise office looking out at a beautiful fall day with no way to open the window.” And here is the dream come to life; the breeze is floating in, the air smells crisp and fresh, and we are working comfortably together, each at our own window. As it turns out, that open window has become more important than ever. In this time of COVID, an open window, a fan and a fresh breeze is one of the safest ways to work. So often, what feels best (nature and green and fresh air) really is best. I am so excited to invite other folks to this space; all of us together reimagining a life filled with fresh air, a better way of working, and a connected community.
