Grace Ficke and I met while she was interviewing me for her senior capstone project on the future of education. Over the course of getting to know each other, we discovered a way we could combine our talents and experiences to create something valuable to the community.
Today we are sharing info on our free, online collaboration event: Contract Law for Independent Creative Contractors, which will be held on Tuesday September 15th. More details in the event description!
This event is geared towards creatives, so anyone who freelances, wants to get into freelancing, or just wants to learn more about this topic is encouraged to come! If you're interested in attending, you can sign up through Eventbrite.
I'm so happy that this is the first of a larger series of events hosted by Community Happens Here to assist rising entrepreneurs! I am super pleased to have 10 people signed up so far, most of them students - I would love to broaden that to creative freelancers throughout the country such as Monica Obaga, so please share widely!
