Located in the heart of Pleasant Ridge, Community Happens Here creates spaces and offers hospitality to bring our neighborhood together.
Sidewalk Hospitality
We create space for authentic hospitality each week on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm. Sidewalk Hospitality is open to the public and staffed by teen volunteers.
Co-Working Space
We provide open work space, as well as rooms for meetings and teleconferencing. We enjoy building partnerships with other organizations that need room to work, meet and grow.
Community Programming
We offer programs for all ages, including, Coffee Cup Cafe, Care-Free Friday Playgroup, and occassional collage/self-care workshops.

PRM Handmade Market
We’re proud to announce that we’re returning to Pleasant Ridge Montessori School’s Holiday Handmade Market to sell coffee, tea and hot chocolate with our teen volunteers. Stop by to grab a cup while you browse the items created and sold by community members.

Become a Co-Worker!
Our facility includes co-working space and meeting rooms, as well as indoor and outdoor environments for community events. We’re always seeking co-workers who are neighborhood-focused and have a developed sense of social purpose. We provide an inclusive and supportive environment for new ideas, human connection, and success. Co-working members support the neighborhood hospitality and educational programming of Community Happens Here.
We believe connection starts at the sidewalk, that business can start with a dollar, and that community starts here, with each other.
